Welcome to Artha ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our website at arthaspace.com and associated services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Overview

Artha is a personal finance dashboard and net-worth tracking tool designed for Indian investors. It helps users track stocks, mutual funds, fixed deposits, provident funds, loans, gold, and other assets in one place.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of India to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must create an account using Google OAuth or Magic Link authentication via Supabase. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service to transmit harmful or malicious content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent

5. Financial Information Disclaimer

Artha is not a financial advisor. The Service provides tools for tracking and organizing your financial assets. Any data, calculations (including XIRR, tax estimates, and projections), or information displayed on Artha is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of market data, prices, or any other financial information displayed. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

6. Data Accuracy

Market prices and financial data are sourced from third-party APIs. While we strive to provide accurate data, we make no warranties about its accuracy or reliability. Asset valuations shown are estimates and may differ from actual market values.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are owned by Artha and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Subscription & Payments

Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. By subscribing, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service in addition to ours.

Subscription plans, pricing, and features are subject to change. We will notify you of any material changes to your subscription terms before they take effect.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Artha and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
